Beardies Breeding,( what do I do now)

Postby trevor » Mon May 24, 2010 6:55 pm

Hi All,
My 8 month old male has "mated" with my 11 month old female, First time this morning and just a few moments ago, The first time I found a small,white-ish deposit on the carpet florr, like a wax worm, but thinner, and just now no deposits of anything.
So what am I expected to do NOW????????, besides wait and see!!!. Is there a set of things I should get ready, or just leave them to it????. All help and tips would be most helpfull.

Cheers all the best trevor...(cheshire) uk.

hiya m8 you need to set up a little box in the corner of your tank fill it with dirt id use humus brick because when the time comes she will dig down into it to lay her eggs. Most people take the eggs out when they have been laid and incubate them themselves as this is a better methord then leaving them in there. You can make your own incubator to do this. But for the moment its just a waiting game but not for long lol.
